    Default Permanent Traits

I just want to know the location of the file (if there is one)where you set the minimum trait level number for when a character can lose a trait. I think it is probably in the export_descr character_traits file, but I'm not sure and I don't want to screw with anything until I know for sure.

yeah its called anti-trait when you loose trait. If you don't want the trait to go down remove it's anti-trait trigger located further down the trait file.

There's a "no_going_back_level" as I recall, which means once the trait reaches level X, it's stuck at that level as a minimum. It's oddly implemented, though. Suppose you get up to strategy chivalry level 3 and it's got a no going back level of 3. In my experience, you keep that trait, but supposing that character piles on dreadful actions from there on out, you can also get strategy dread levels if your points dip low enough while maintaining your minimum level in strategy chivalry. It's perplexing to say the least.

Thanks Snipafist, I think that pretty much all I needed.

It's a bit of a confusing system. I hope that explained it. Basically, even though you can reach a set minimum level of trait, nothing stops anti-traits from reducing your points low enough to start picking up opposing traits (so you can have chivalric in battle and dreadful in battle at the same time), which is confusing to say the least. For that reason, I eliminated "no_going_back" altogether from my character traits file.

Can you just go into the file and delete the trait data and trigger?
