You should read other threads mate, but it'll be summer, they hope (I think).

So redownload! It's still a great mod and it's silly to wait for that long.

At least a few months I should say, the skinning is progressing nicely, but there is a lot to do, the map is not far of being done, but then all the text files will need to be made and the whole thing will have to be play tested for balance.
In the mean time I'd say download 1.5 and enjoy that - it is still an excellent mod.

If you haven't played since Christmas, you should try 1.5, it's pretty much a total revision over 1.0. Still some months till 2.0 comes out, but if you really want to bug someone, head over to the HCS forums and bug them

    Get 1.5 here: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=137604

I've been watching you through your monitor.

There will be an Athenian faction in 2.0, but not when we first release.

Fantastic news! I didn't know if you guys were still holding up to the swap faction hype.

Of course -- how else do we get Caledonia in as a faction?

Depends. If you're okay waiting an extra two months, then we'll wait till we have a couple ready before we release.

The best advantage is the AI preffering naval invasions which add an extra dimension to the game. Makes it harder and more fun as you can have invasions coming from all sides- and more realistic.

As others have said, the AI in BI, particularly the naval AI far superior to RTW.

A while ago there was a thread in the RS forum asking if having the BI.exe is worth it. One of the RS members said that yes that AI is smarter but it is bugger in some places. And that it can even cause random CTDs. BEcause of that thread I don't use the BI.exe I use the RTW one.

But then alot of players will come in and say they have played whole campaigns without a single CTD while using the Bi.exe. For those people who have this situation thats all you.
