    Default Minor details?

I was wondering, the Illyrians don't have a palace right, when they reach 12k population? So when they start the campaign that's pretty much the only soldiers they can make, since they start with "hall of heroes, stables, practice range" right?:hmmm:
Right now I got several cities of the macedonians, and I can't train their spearmans they so often use in battles. So are there only specific units that can be trained from conquered regions?

    Thnxs for all help.

Every region has its specific unit: you must build the cultural buildings AND the military buildigs if you wanna be able to recruit them

Ive build all the buildings avaible after taking over a Macedonian town, Except the soldiers I can recruit from my region, there are 2 others soldiers avaible to recruit but none of them are pikemen. Perhaps I musst exceed 6k people in the town to recruit those.

You were expecting to be able to recruit macedonian pikemen? If so, you were wrong. You don`t get access to the other faction`s units if you conquer their settlements. You have your core faction units that you can recruit anywhere if you build the neccessary barracks and you also have aor units that are specific to certain regions and can only be recruited from there. Iirc there is a mercenary pezoi, but that`s not also recruitable afaik. Could remember wrong.

Aaah sure, you can train only AOR units, not the faction-specific units. For example, if I conquer Rome with my carthaginian's army, I could train Latin and Italian infantry, but i could not recruit Principes

You can always take a family member and recruit all the available mercenaries from the different areas. I'm conquering Greece at the moment and am stocking up on all the available Cretan Archers and mercenary hoplites, as the Sarmatian Faction do not have any spearmen.

But if I do like you, then it's impossible for me to retrain those units? Unless I stay close to that region, right?

The aor units can only be retrained in the region where they can be recruited.
