Possibly if you have modded your game files in any way shape or form, this would cause an incompatible game data error.

Yeah, I currently know that's the problem. I just want to know what is exactly wrong which is what I thought the error would help do.

Someone correct me if I am wrong but every player on your LAN has to have exactly the same game, version, and to keep it simple, unmodded. If yiu have to, go through each computer and install the game youself so you know it's right and if someone fools with the setup. After that it's process of elimination.

Ok. I got through that but new problem is that I get a "No response from host."

Bleh. I got one battle to work, but after I did it, it went back to incompatible.
