Hi there, the important stuff post is where you sould have been indeed! . The Map Pack is actually on our Downloads page at our site, right below the NTW2 version 1.0 install. There are two mirrors.

Please be aware that we will shortly release a new, updated Map Pack replacing some older maps, adding new maps and fixing a few C/O issues.

I've downloaded the map-pack and installed it but I still seem to be missing the maps. Can I ask how many maps are there and where exactly to install them as, idiot that I am, I can't locate that information here or on the Lordz site? Also, do I need the peninsula pack to be fully updated for online play?

No, you do not need the Pen Pack. I have tried to make this very clear, NTW2 is a complete, condense, and updated version of every release the LMC has um, released. This is NOT A PATCH!!!! (I'm not directly picking at you SeniorBatavianHorse, it is just a point I want to make clear for everyone.)

All you need to play now is a crsip, clean copy of RTW. (Fresh install of RTW, upgraded to the 1.3 patch, updated to the 1.5 patch if you have had other mods or older version of NTW2 installed. If you do not have a clean install of RTW you will get strange errors during loading, such a mising a settlement plan.)

Then download and install the NTW2 version 1.0.

The Map Pack contains 123 community created maps. This will be updated shortly with about 25 or so new maps. I believe that the Map Pack comes with an installer, at least it did when I put the links up there, so it should install directly into your folders. If not, then they go here:
Rome - Total War\napoleonic\data\world\maps\custom
