Ok, people, here is a list I want you people to fill in. Just asking you about your best and favourite units in the following category.(Mine are as the follows)

Favourite Light Infantry: Hastati
Favourite Heavy Infantry: Urban Cohorts
Favourite Missle Infantry: Archer Auxilla
Favourite Missle Cavalry: Numidian Cavalry
Favourite Horse Archers: Scythian Nobles
Favourite Light Cavalry: Light Lancers
Favourite Heavy Cavalry: Pretorian Cavalry
Favourite Mercanaries: Cretan Archers
Favourite Special Units(Specific to ONLY 1 or 2 factions eg spartans): Beserkers
Favourite Spearmen: Tiarii
Favourite Phalangites: Macedon Royal Pikeman

Favorite Light Infantry: Iberian inf(so many have died to save more important men

)
Favorite Heavy Infantry: Bull warriors(very under rated inf, almost on par with urbs and in campaign, they are MUCH cheaper)
Favorite Missile Infantry: Balearic slingers(machine guns

)
Favorite Missile Cavalry: Numidian Cavalry(underrated)
Favorite Horse Archers: Scythian Noble archers(they are better in hand to hand then Scythian nobles)
Favorite Light Cavalry: round shields(can't beat them for the same cost)
Favorite Heavy Cavalry: Cataphracts(nuff said)
Favorite Mercenaries: War elephants(tanks)
Favorite Special Units: Foresters(their arrows are made of gold, but they can kill very fast, and they have spears to fight cavalry!)
Favorite Spearmen: Triarrii(Very good at their job, slaughtering cavalry)
Favorite Phalangites: Royal Pikemen(Strongest pike unit)
Favorite Hoplites: Sacred band(Obviously I'm a Carthage fan, but it's not for nothing)
Favorite Moral Lowering Unit: Berserkers(night raiders are a little to weak)
Favorite Armored Unit: Armored elephants

Favorite Armour Piercing Unit: Head Hunting Maidens(women with axes and on horse back

Favorite Cheap Unit: Hoplites(cheap, effective)
Favorite Expensive Unit: Spartans(no explanation needed)
Favorite Chariots Unit: British Heavy Chariots(Hmmm...chariots)
Favorite Generals Unit: Carthaginian armored bodyguard(they look cool and in campaign they get names like Hannibal... no doubt named after me

Some of the categories are redundant, IMO. "Favourite Cheap Unit" and "Favourite Light Infantry" are often similiar, as well as "Favourite Missile Cavalry" and "Favourite Horse Archers".

"Favourite Cheap Unit" is similar but not the same, it can be infantry or missle or cavalry, it can also be peasants

"Favourite Missle Cavalry" are cavalry with javelins.
"Favourite Horse Archers" are cavalry with arrows

Actually, a "missile cavalry" unit would include any horse-unit that shoots/throws any kind of projectile (i.e. arrows, javelins).
