    Default Medieval Crashes

    Hi Guys.

    Hope you can help. i have a quite old laptop and medieval runs just fine except when certain cut scenes are played that makes it crash. for example the choosing of a new pope of death of an assain cut scenes. if any one knows what i can do to stop this i would be very grateful

    Reinstall, the files might be corrupted.

    Do you have windows media player fully updated? Try doing that. I have no idea what's the highest version nowadays, but go as high as possible.

    If that doesn't work, try adding -nm to your shortcut's target line. It makes it so that those movies don't show up.

    If the cutscenes are your only issue, go to your medieval preferences files and change the line that refers to events scenes (dont know verbatim).
