Anyone know how to steal an enemy career governor?
It seems that spending their first turn outside a settlement makes them a career general. Since its impossible to get them from enemy territory into a town in one turn i was wondering if there is a quick way to get me some governors. Adoption rarely pops up and when it does the guys are usually either 50 or a general. Anyone know how to steal an enemy career governor?

Easier to change the
<min_adoption_age uint=""/>
<max_adoption_age uint=""/>
to a better range. For example 18-22 or whatever you like. (in descr_campaign_db.xml).
I think the AI isn't using the general/governor line and thus whenever you get a general he'll be stuck at the enemy city and become a general. Maybe if you grab him in the open?

Is the age difference +- what determines the age of potential husbands for princesses?

There is a line for adoption and one for marriage age difference.
