When did you last play vanilla RTW?

I ask because the last time I did was in early 2005 some time. I think I completed the Julii campaign once, and didn't try anything else. Haven't played it since, and have no desire to either.

Umm, well last summer I messed around with Greece a little just for fun for a couple of days. But the last time I have seriously played it was probably fall of '05.

I played it for a month after I got it, I guess sometime in early 2006? Then I found out about RTR first and other mods later.

There is really no reason to play vanilla imo when such great mods are out there.

Played BI some weeks ago, that isn't that bad accually. If you don't bother about the coulors then the gameplay is pretty good.

Hehe - I know what you mean matey. I think the vanilla campaign was a lot of fun, even if it did run a bit short on historical accuracy.

A good game is a good game, regardless of its age. I mean, when was the last time chess was modded?

So you will lose your horse if you attack a pawn from the front. In that case the horses need to have a charge bonus, killing all who dare come in their path! (exept the pawns )
