Umm, well last summer I messed around with Greece a little just for fun for a couple of days. But the last time I have seriously played it was probably fall of '05.

I played it for a month after I got it, I guess sometime in early 2006? Then I found out about RTR first and other mods later.
There is really no reason to play vanilla imo when such great mods are out there.
I played about 10 years of an Egyptian campaign, for old times sake, about a month ago.![]()

Played BI some weeks ago, that isn't that bad accually. If you don't bother about the coulors then the gameplay is pretty good.

And queens became so imba after a certain late medieval patch; they used to move only one square diagonally before. This led to the popularity of the well known tactic of promoting your pawns to queens, known as "queen spamming".
