Default Changing resolution in a saved file. How?

    Hi!

I'm playing both on my pc and laptop. My pc has a resolution of 1680x1050 and the laptop a res of 1280x800. Last night I saved the games in my pc so the resolution in the saved games is set to 16x10. I copied the saved games to my laptop but can't open them (the file starts loading) but it goes back to main menu. I guess because the lap has a max res of 1280x800.

How do I change the res in the .sav saved files?

    Cheers!

    Deni

    Try going here:

C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War (or where ever you have installed medieval 2) and then opening medieval2preference.cfg

then scroll down until you see the video section then change it.

Saved games don't store game settings (apart from unit size/difficulty)

The likely explanation is the game versions differ and you need to update.
