So, the Computer really does hate the Player...
Playing Pontus M/M 263 BC
Trying to create the Asia Minor trading hub. Got Byzantium Nikaia, Sardis, Ipsos, Sinope, Halihanossos & Anaseia. No standing army, six units, cities with minimal garrisons. The Grey Menace & yellow Death french kissed allied and now are thick as thieves.
My allies, the Dacians, two stacks but have never expanded & Epirus - Gettin patted around like a suttlecock by the usual players. (Guess i might as well saddle up with Robert E. Lee after he retired
and Napoleon leading the troops from Elba.)
The Grey Menance has decided its navy will revial the Kaiser's High Seas Fleet from WWI. Naturally to blockade my ports. You guessed it I couldnt biuld a ship if my life depends on it. Probably does.
Anytime now i'm expecting a roman legion to land in Asia Minor. (Why not) So now the wait begins....How long before the great Grey/Yellow invasion arrives?????

at M the AI isn't overly aggressive, at least it should't be. You should have the necessary time to prepare a defence. On VH is different, since AI gets massive cash bonuses and is hardcoded to target the player whenever is possibile.
