How many generals?

how many enemy generals have you killed in a single battle?

i ask because today i took out four egyptain generals in one seige assault, it was awesome.

i was dissapointed that none of them were the faction leader, but after i captured cairo(the city i was sieging) and finished the crusade i had on it, i went and took alexandria, which had there faction leader defending it(and as a bonus he was the only unit) so in 2 turns i took out 5 enemy generals, 4 in one battle, won a crusade, and my faction leader also got the arc of the covenant in his retinue.

Once I also killed 5 generals, but it's really lame, cuz if you do blitzkrieg, and your enemy has only a few settlements left, he will send all his surviving family members there, packing them up in one city.

It can be a really pain in the ass, with so many heavy cavalry units to slaughter, so I prefer assassinating them, which will a/ soften up the enemy troops b/ eventually wipe out the whole faction.

I try not to murder them, I like to capture them and then hover over the execute button and hear their screams for mercy MUHAHAHAHAHA!

sounds familiar!

I think the most was 4 that I killed in a mongol battle. I did not kill many other mongols, but focused a full stack on the generals. it was planned and executed as a danish suicide assault on the mongol military elite. (Dumb Blunt Assassin Strategy)

I had another full stack waiting to take out the rest of the mongols who usually dont pose much threat without generals (especially when two danish full dread general attack)

Worked pretty well and the troops that achieved that kill are still living in Valhall

4 generals, I took rome, it had 3 family members and the pope. I also had like 1000 spear men or something.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who appreciates the different responses in the post battle prisoner decision thingy. It is the little things that count. I specifically take delight in scared Scotsmen!
