goddamn:unspecific error for patch 1.2

hi all..i have already installed the patch 1.1 but now that i install patch 1.2 after the loading screen game exits and say:medievalII have some unspecific error and will now exit....or something like that...i have road some topics here that say uninstall and delete what remains from game then install the game and install the patch before u start a campaign...but it really don`t work`s cause i done this nearly 5x times...do anyone know`s how to solve that goddamn error?

where did you get the 1.2 patch from my friend? Have you tried downloading 1.2 from another website and installing it?
