Default political viewpoints (new and improved)

In light of the many new political viewpoints i have been encountering in the past thread i am starting a new one that will still not have all of them included.
Socialist:you believe in the roots of socialism as government(also includes your own personal variations)
Utopian Socialist (you want little communities of socialist around the world ex.Walden 2,Kibutzs,Thomas Mores Utopia, communes, exc)
Conservative(you want the existing government in place you support its instituitons and such)
    Liberal(Personal rights,freedoms of constitution,that sort of jazz,free market)
Democratic(the U.S variation on liberals,Liberal but a little more reformist)
Republican(support the government, you may not like terrorists, hard for me to describe)
Fascist(totalitarian control of everything in constant revolution)
    dictatorship(one man ruling government)
    Neoconservative(its a new view on conservativehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neoconservatism_(United_States)
social democrat(socialism in democratic voting fasion)
liberal conservative(seems a bit like neoconservative, maybe u guys get this one better than me)
United Earth(lets make the world one big nation)
other(i am sure this covers a lot)

You must be feeling pretty terrible. I don't think Hitler would have liked to see himself as a fascist. Like most dictators, he'd probably thought of himself as a "man of the people."

Hm...this thread is improved, but not improved enough. You need to allow it so that it is possible to chose multiple choices. For example, conservatism is a way of thinking, while the Republicans are a political party centered on conservatism. So, many Republicans are Conservative.

I put myself down as a conservative. I think my philosophy could be best described as "to each his own," so I guess I'm a liberal by some standards (not in the American way, though).

According to the Theory of War, which teaches that the best way to avoid the inconvenience of war is to pursue it away from your own country, it is more sensible for us to fight our notorious enemy in his own realm, with the joint power of our allies, than it is to wait for him at our own doors.

... well I would have to say that traditionally liberals aren't for a free market, they like some kind of government intervention to help the little guy or the independant business holder.

I'm a liberal-conservative. I'm a weird one though... and usually am scared of either side.

    Good "improved model", though!

Of coarse this pole is flawed.I can't get every view in their.Monarachy could go under dictatorship. And Heinz Guderian,i like liberals, but i don't think its possible to have a democratic government without corruption. But thats not liberalism.Liberalism is all that freedom stuff. If that is what you meant by do i like you, then sure.

By the way i voted Utopian Socialist.I think that Socialism on a large scale doesn't work.On small scales yes though.Little communities could work and they could all band together to help each other if the movement grew.

There are a whole lot of conservatives who play this game. That is interesting and makes me wonder why?

a poor poll; but i voted for Utopian socialist, as I am a communist. I love the fact you said fascists want 'constant revolution' you clearly have no idea what fascism is. Constant Revolution is a concept put forward by Trotsky. Trotskyites are about as left wing as you get.

... I got Trostky confused with Tolstoy again. I was about to ask you what crazy planet you lived on, but then I remembered who was who. I have no idea why, but I always confuse those two, saying that Trotsky wrote Anna Kerenina and Tolstoy got stabbed in the eye with an ice pick while in Mexico City... It was really embarassing when i did that in class one day...

Anyway, Thomas Jeffersom also proposed the need for another revolution every twenty years, saying "the tree of liberty must periodically be watered by the blood of patriots". In that way I would imagine you could call Jefferson a communist! Well, I guess at its core there is very little that separates pure democracy from pure communism... except the colors, that is.
