upgrades in custom battle

is there anyway to make the upgrades able to turn gold. I know some of the soldiers armor and weapons change when they are upgraded and i want to see this aswell as make the "leaders" of a custom match stronger. make it more fun. anyone know a mod or a way to edit the options. thnx.

Eh, gold isn't so great. It's brittle.

i dont think you can
i think every unit has a certain amount of upgrade capability, like halberd militia can be upgraded in defense all the way to gold, but only bronze attack
it might be hardcoded, or it might be in the export_descr_units file

hmmm. ok well ill see what I can find in the file. but I tried upgrading pretty much all the heavy infantry and it only goes to bronze. like unmounted gothic knights and the such.

well the units that can go to gold setting are unable to. darn. can anyone atleast confirm tha tit is impossible to do this. or give me a site that might be able to help. thnks in advance.

you probably can, but it would require new textures/skins (not sure because i don't do graphics)

lol I thi9nk poeple are getting confused on what I mean. when the upgrade is max is when it is gold. there is bronze silver and gold. Iw anted m guys in custom battle to be able to be gold. but I know I need a mod or change soem files for this. is there a site or a mod that does this.
