Game does not start

I have installed SS 5.1, I also have M2 patch 1.3.
I used this mod before I had to reinstall M2 and Kingdoms, so it can work.
Whenever I attempt to start SS, a black box flashes on the screen too fast to see, and then... nothing. I am probably missing something painfully obvious, but help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

It is important that you install the mod to your M2TW directory eg: C:/program files/Sega/M2TW.

You must have at least have 1 kingdoms campaign installed.
