Which campaign besides the Americas does not feature horse archers?

I'm playing as the Teutonic and the other factions are a major pain. I end up routing the whole enemy army, but the remaining 3-4 units of horse archers end up just running around.....

Only Britannia, Crusader's is even worse than Teutonic as every faction except the 2 christians is a large horse archer based army

There are several ways to deal with HAs:
1.You can kill HAs with your own archers. They have longer range and/or more archers.
2.You can bring some light cavalry with you and chase them and kill them.
    3. You can train your own HAs. The Teutonic order can train mounted crossbows. These are far more deadlier then normal HAs. You need the highest tier of the range buildings.

    Happy hunting
Officer to a soldier who refuses to fight: There three types of soldiers who don't have to fight. They are called KIA, MIA and POW and you are not one of them.

    Tosa will be missed.

Don't fight, cower all your armies within your cities and wait for the inevitable onrush of pagan hordes. Boring but effective.

just imagine how the easter european armies hated the horse archers of the mongols, or even the byzantines the seldjuk horse archers.
    It was simply effective.

Mobile Shooters (with good arrows e.g. armor piercing) >>> static and slow armies. attack, fake retreat, wait for the impatient knights losing formation in wild hunt, turn around, slay em down + with own heavy cav, rout army. You want to win on the battlefield.

In fact, they hated 'em so much, they tried to adopt horse archers in their own armies (where they were clever enough to do so)

But back to mtw2:K, just outrange them or use 2 horse units to get em trapped. Horse archers rout pretty quickly once they are engaged. Good at harrassing, bad at melee.

    paper-scissor-rock, what the fock..?

[..] you seem to like fantasy then. Also you are not much TOLERANT to put that in middle words.

    Archers > Horse Archers
    Horse Archers x Horse Archers

Just use anything except heavy cavalry and melee infantry and they shouldn't be a problem.

Actually, the Americas Campaign does feature horse archers. The Apachean Tribes use horse archers before they adapt to gunpowder. They also use mounted thunder braves which is another form of horse archers, but using muskets instead.

I have been fighting the Turks recently and the best methods I have against them are using archers against them or flanking. But while I hate fighting them, I love using them against infantry based armies. I absolutly slaughter them.
