Default Ok forget borrowing your skins, I'm in! recommended settings?

    Browsing the readme...

    1. What are the recommended settings for an experienced RTW player? med/med? Very hard/very hard??

I want it challanging but not rediculous AI banzai all factions attack me on turn 2 bull%@#!

    2. Is each turn 1 year? 6 months?

    3. Can i change each turn to only be 6 months? can somone remind me where to go to do that... thx

    4. SigniferOne's animation package included in the latest patch?

    5. Does the latest and greatest download link include all patches*ie... is the most current viersion?

    6. Does the phalynx fare any better in the BI version? I love Macedon, but in RTW the phalynx seems broken(units scatter, dont stay in formation)?

Reinstalling now(erasing SPQR).... going to try BI version, getting sick of chasing down individuals from "scattered" routing enemy phalynx.

    Thanks

I usually play on hard/hard. For some factions, like Pontus and Armenia, you might want to try hard/med. Very hard is strictly for masochists.
    2. Is each turn 1 year? 6 months?
    Yes.
    4. SigniferOne's animation package included in the latest patch?
    Yes.
    5. Does the latest and greatest download link include all patches...
    Yes. Each version is self-contained.

Unfortunately no - phalanxes are bugged in the BI version as well. The Alexander version is the only one that has phalanxes working correctly.

So, yes to 1 year per turn, or 6 months?? ;o

Anyone know the quickest route to buy/download Alexander? I originally downloaded it from the Sega Site.. the link is apparently perma-broken.. I tried last year as well, can't believe that link had been dead for a couple years and Sega just leaves it up.

Anyway, it seems Bit torrent has it, but I've had bad experiences trying to use that POS site...
