patch 1.2 corrupt.

I tried to download the official patch 1.2 today twice. But both times I was unable to install the files because it said that some files were corrupt. Do you guys know anything about this? It is really annoying since I can't play any mods.

I had mine go corrupt the first because I tried doing other things. Best way is start your download and go watch tv for a while. If you have a bunch of programs including windows that are always looking for updates, disable them first. If you you have any music or video with web connections, turn them off,too. Any background noise will corrupt this 658mb file. I know becaues I did it.

The heck are you talking about?

Are you sure it isn't the core game itself that is corrupt? Also, are you downloading from the same spot every time? Try another website. It's been a while since I downloaded the patch, but I'm sure it isn't called CFG pack1.

It's called "MIITW_UPDATE2_EFIGS_RC_Final.exe". This post from last year has a list of download sites. http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=96588. How many of them are still active, don't know but give them a try. Any more use the search at the different TW sites and use Google. Maybe surprised.

Are you sure that will work, ebcaus enow I ahve tried to download it four times and still no positive results. It seems that some files are corrupt. One time it is the " CFG pack1" or something" then it is the English something and so on. sure it is the whole patch in itself?

I have downloaded from three different pages.
And no it isn't called CFG pack1 Irishron wrote the name of the pack. But in the patch there are several files. And three of them are corrupt and those make it not possible to install the mod.

Now you have a file name and a list of sites. Get a bad download, go to the next one. The only thing it takes is time. Good luck.

The thing is that I have to register on all those websites to download the file. And I can only download three of them since the rest are in langauges I can't understand.

Have you asked Sega technical support itself on their website if it can point you to one in your language? Have you asked CA's technical support on their website the same question?

nah I should do it. But I just saw that the file that is corrupt or something is " CRC" and then some " main/english" stuff.

Did you midify a file like unlocking factions? That will cause the patch to act like it's corrupted. These installers are look at some things and if they don't match, won't install. If the answer is no then did you try a campaign before trying to patch? If the answer is yes and it works then talk to Sega and CA.

Now I tried something:

I downloaded patch 1.1 and it completely worked withput any problems. I can isntall the patch too and no corrupted files appear. But patch 1.2 doesn't work. Some files are always destroyed. Does this happen to other people too when they download and try to install the patch?
