    Thank you, I want all, but in my original MTW2 data folder there is not such a "terrain" previous folder

    That would be because your is game not un-packed, see the tools folder!

    Although you do not want to overwrite vanilla files! Although i' ve not tried this method myself, i have mine mod-foldered.

    If you really want to have these files in vanilla, then just extract them to you data folder and this to your .cfg file found in the main folder:

    Code:
    [io]
    file_first = true
    then set the file to read-only and you should be good to go!

    Thanks for your answer Danny. So this is what I did:

    1. Edited mtw2 config file and added those code lines, and set it to Read only again.
    2. Pasted "terrain" folder and the 2 txt files inside "data" folder of mtw2
    3. Launched the game, and just when the Great Campaign was about to start, got CTD.

    Have you un-packed?

    Are you putting the files in a mod or vanilla?

    Open the .cfg file and check these lines are still there:

    Uh... I installed the mod both in vanilla as well as the mod folder (using retrofit) and it works 100%
