    Default Great Historical battles

i was wondering if anyone has ever replicated a great historical battle, whether it be Agincourt, Crecy, Hattin, Bannockburn, Battle of Liegnitz, etc

i would like to see screenshots and see if anyone has ever because i find it extremely hard, not because the AI is smart but because it doesn't think logical and therefore not like a human and so i expect it to do smart human moves only to see it do something really stupid which makes me win but not like i wanted...i want to replicate a battle

I don't mind if they are custom or Campaign. On one condition, they have to be a victory. I will give rep to those who did really well or make me laugh

"we're way way pre-alpha and what that means is there is loads of features not just in terms of the graphics but also in terms of the combat and animations that actually aren't in the game yet.So the final game is actually gonna look way way better than this!” - James Russell, CA
Just like the elephant animation, this Carthage scenario is actually in the game, it just has a small percantage factor for showing up, that's all...

Well, I sort of recreated Saladin's capture of Jeruselum in the Crusades campaign. I say sorta, because my Saladin had full dread, and was actually out at field, with an army of horse archers, taking on armies outnumbering his men 2 to 1 and winning, then executing the MANY prisoners...<.<

I tried the Battle when Richard the Lionhearted is traveling, and then gets ambushed by Saladin's army, but, as you said, the AI makes some really stupid moves, so I won pretty easily and fast.

Would be cool to have the Siege of Jerusalem. Being Balain of Ibelin defending the walls. Dont know how it would end since it ended with a stalemate and the terms of surrender between balian and saladin....

Well, if I remember the story, you could try to rout as many people as possible, capture a lot of prisoners, and release them all to simulate what actually happened...
