Steam launch problems (steam screwed me over)

so I just downloaded MTWII over steam and I click on launch game after I've downloaded it. For some reason it refuses to start the game... nothing happens.

so I log out and restart steam, doesnt work...

I restart computer, still doesnt work...

I'm seriously close to going to Steam HQ and killing someone.

I payed for this ing game and so it should ing start.


and don't mention computer specs. I got a new monster PC with directX 9C installed and all... this is such bullcrap.

so any ideas on what could be wrong?

You are right, talk to Steam in any language you wish and best of luck. To me, it sounds like a bad download and need to do it all over, again.

I had a similar problem when I downloaded TWM2, I just reinstalled it and everything worked out great.

Here's another Steam related question though, does anyone know how to get mods to work if I've downloaded them from Steam? I can't seem to get any mods started up ...
