I was wondering if its possible to raise their diplomatic ability by putting them in a city for a while. Anyone know if its possible?

change the title im doing my best not to laugh
You know what i meant.
i dont use princeses often and so far i can only think in them earning bad traits from doing nothing (like a lover or ugly traits) not sure indeed.
"Don't show this post to your wife"
Should be the title lmao.
Your princess will not receive an education like a male (general/governor). Letting them hang around in cities will usually give them only bad traits. I think there are some interactive events that give your princesses good traits (royal tournament i think), but the best way to improve them is diplomacy and moving them into regions with different religion/different faction/enemy faction (brave).

The thing with diplomacy is beyond trade agreements with one or two neighboring factions and finding princesses to marry your faction heir its pretty much useless. I find it annoying to travel across the globe securing agreements with factions you'll never visit just to raise my traits. I was wondering if their is an easier way.
marry her out to some hedious but powerful landlord, securing his good will for a month or two. is the best that can ever happen to a well born woman
XD
you can always help her become a world-known pirate hunter
but you know how it ends dont you? its a woman for christ sake!
sometimes princesses start with a tutor (+trade) as retinue. i guess that depends on which city/castle (and the buildings in it) they appear while coming-of-age. These retinues translate in traits of their husband later on. Being ugly does, too :p
Other than that, only diplomatic success improves them.
Putting them into foreign territory alone improves them too, even more so if this is an enemy country with a different religion.
