Default Any chance of larger unit numbers in the future?

    Hello, and great looking mod!

I must admit for me personally an immediate turn off is the low numbers of troops per individual unit.

I've played a few other mods from the RTW series(Lord of the Rings for example), with low troop numbers(20 to 60 troops per unit), and compared to other mods with larger troop formations(SPQR for instance), it seems the larger troop formations make for more exciting, epic battles. Smaller units overall... you looking at full stack armies fielding 1000 to 1500 men, compared to 3000 to 4000 troops in the mods that field larger numbers of troops per individual units.

Not to mention attrition, and sustainability of fighting units in the field... smaller units(20 to 40 max men per individual unit). After only ONE average battle, you may find 1/2 your fighting force barely able to form one to two ranks of troops.

Seeing screenies with 20 to 40 men per unit card in this mod, compared to other mods such as SPQR with 180 to 240 men per most individual units, there's no real comparison in large scale battles.

Just my humble opinion, not trying to take anything away from this great looking mod.

You can always change the unit size to "huge" in the options menu.
Your phalanx will then have 240 men per unit and your regular units will have 200 men per unit.
Looks like you're playing on "small" unit size.

ummm... have you tried going into options, video, unit scale, and setting it to huge?

Make sure you do this at the main screen.

With "huge" size armies, a full Roman stack is easily over 3000 men.

A specific unit number cannot be set for a mod, theres always four options: small, medium, large, and huge. You can set the values for each (but the one below is half the one above it and vice versa). XGM has already done this, increasing (on large unit size), the numbers from 80 in a regular sized unit to 100 (missile units not affected, oversized units as well). Looks like you'll just have to take everyone else's advice and increase unit size...

So if i simply ensure the settings are on HUGE, I'll see those 240 man infantry units? 200 archers ect?
