DVL problem

When i try start campaing game in DVL 5.0 , game crash without any error report. plz help and sry for my bad english.

Download the patch 5.4 and hotfix 2... pure 5.0 is hard bugged.

I have the same problem. I already installed patch 5.4 and the hotfix but the game crashes before i even get to pick a faction.

If you're clicking on several different faction icons to read about them before you pick one then it will crash apparently. If this is not the case then I'm not sure what the problem is. At what point exactly does it crash i.e menu, initial loading screen etc. Also have you tried customising any of the moddable files yourself. When you installed 5.4 and the hotfix did you first delete all your DLV folders and then reinstall them? You have to do a fresh install of 5.0 and then 5.4 for it to work so they say.

I do have a fresh install. The game crashes after i click on 3 or 4 factions. Ill try to pick one quickly this time and see if that does the trick.

@Glade,

This crash is due to the number of new factions added to the campaign and this cannot be fixed sadly. Other big mods like SS also have the same problem. But as MagyarMatt says, as long as you are careful to try not to make more than a couple of selections, this bug is manageable and need not trouble you.

My indecisiveness seems to have been the problem. I have now started a Scottish campaign and everything seems to be in order.
