    Default longbowman

    what would i need to change to make longbowman, yeomen and retuine LBs have armor piercing again? I miss my LBs having it

    I believe in the desrc_unit or something... under attributes.

    I actually think they still have peircing, it just doesn't say in the game.

    Correct, it is under stat_pri_attr in the export_descr_unit text file in the data folder of the SS mod. All you have to do is find the unit you seek and add the letters ap after stat_pri_attr. This will add the armor piercing ability to the first weapon used by that particular unit. In the case of archer units that would indeed effect their missile weapon. A word of caution however. Be careful when changing this file. An out of place comma, or a space or return where it shouldn't be will cause a CTD till you locate and fix the problem. Be careful!

    And upon closer inspection, it appears evenflowjimbo is correct. Both the units you inquired about have ap in their stat_pri_attr still. At least in the 5.1b version of SS I play.
