Hey Goldenboy24. I recommend that you activate the automatic autoresolve function before starting the campaign, for both yours and your brothers sake. Having to watch your fellow hotseat player fight all his battles can be quite tiresome. On the other hand, this will mean that (if you're a moderately skilled medieval player) you will probably end up loosing battles that you could easily have won if you were to fight them yourself... Then again... I've experienced autoresolved battles (Namely when besieging an enemy castle or city) where I was able to win the day with ridiculously few casualties, so it's like a game of russian roulette, really.
Other than that the gameplay is pretty straight forward.
When having diplomatic dealings with oneanother, things will take some extra time, in terms of turns. Making offers and counter offers to eachother. Of course if you are on friendly terms ingame, there will be no need for counter offers.
When two armies controlled by players join battle on the map, the one who is being attack will not get a chance to flee the field, keep that in mind!
Can't think of anything that there's left to say, other than "Have fun!"![]()
