problem crash faction_defeated_by_player

guys kindly help me i cant make my total war 1.3 running
it works wellon 1.0 but on 1.3 it wont i added the -show_err it said unknow string event faction_defeated_by_player
someone told me to edit mine and make similar once like his well mine is the same like his but the the only problem is..his rtw 1.3 is working =.= i already installed and un installed (no traces of rome rtw on my pc) estimated 27x duh that sux big time..here is the exact message

Script editor in data/descr_event_images.txt, at line 623, column 1.
unknown event string faction_defeated_by_player

So, which total war are you running - I presume it's Rome: Total War?

Please explain on this sentence "someone told me to edit mine and make similar once like his well mine is the same like his but the the only problem". What did they want you to edit and make it look like what?
