Then were are the black jews and black Mary?

The neo-Nazis of the world would be pissed?
Seriously, though, why does it matter? OHMYGAWDHEWASBLACK! Big deal. Nothing should change in your religion.
Well they are already on the border with that.
Either they aren't christians because well Jesus was a jew and they hate jews after all or they simply stick their heads in the sand and claim Jesus was a blond haired, blue eyed aryan that wasn't jewish the slightest, making neo-nazis that go into that group look even more silly then they already are.

There was no "original image". Judaism discourages images of their holy men or human images as decorations at all. There are no depictions at all of Jesus from the earliest period of Christianity. When we start getting images of him in paintings in the catacombs and in later Roman church decorations he's depicted in the style of a Roman of the time - clean-shaven and with short hair. So from the very first depictions of him he was already being shown as being of the culture in which that art was produced.
The real Jesus would have been bearded with dark brown skin and short hair. Long hair was considered an example of Greek decadence and was only adopted by rich Hellenised Jews, not devout peasants like Jesus and his followers.

Sigh...
Indeed the only description found in all the Bible is that afforded to Him by Isaiah where He is described as having no comeliness lest any desire Him, perhaps even the suggestion that He may have had some sort of disfigurement but certainly no other description as to facial expression.
If Jesus really was a Jew who lived in the 1st century Palestine then almost 100% he probably had dark complexion.
By the way, according to my occasional visits to Stormfront.org, many neo-nazis denounce Christianity due to this fact.
"When one person suffers from a delusion it is called insanity. When many people suffer from a delusion it is called religion." -- Robert Pirsig
"Feminists are silent when the bills arrive." -- Aetius
"Women have made a pact with the devil — in return for the promise of exquisite beauty, their window to this world of lavish male attention is woefully brief." -- Some Guy
Yup, Jesus was a jew. Jewy Jew. A Jew full of Jewdom.
...King of the Jews, in fact.
The comment about Stormfront is true to a fault. Have you ever tried to argue religion with an "Odinist"? Trying to convince them that they are worshipping a god who, according to North European beliefs, died in the fire that consumed Valhalla, is usually an exercise in futility!
Among 1st Century Jews, it is remotely possible that Jesus could have had fair skin, red hair, blue eyes, or green eyes. That doesn't mean that He wouldn't have been Semitic, however. But I seriously suspect that Jesus was dark-complexioned, with dark brown or black hair, and brown eyes ... like almost everyone else, there.
Not necessarily. Remember that in that era, some Romans started to convert Judaism. Also, the Jewish population already at these times were mixed in the way they looked; The Edomite were forcibly converted to Judaism, and if their description of the way they look acorrding to the Torah, they were pretty light skinned, since acorrding to the Torah commentators such as Rashi, "Red" also meant they had a redness in their faces. Also, the Jews of the Galilee looked a bit diffrent, since they were also mixed with converts of Phonicia and from a Jewish kingdom that was created in southern-Syria.
You need to remember Judaism was a missionery religion until 135 C.E.
Sigh...
Jesus Christ would have had an olive-skinned complexion, dark straight or curly hair (either black or a very dark brown of some sort), and brown eyes.
Jesus didn't look like what sub-Saharans look like.
Chinese Jesus (Jesus as depicted in China)
Jesus as a Copt (probably most accurate)
