How do I add Shield wall and testudo??

ALWAYS BACK UP ANY FILES YOU ARE ABOUT TO CHANGE.

Open data/export_descr_units.txt.
Find the entry for the unit you want to add the formation to.

formation        1.2, 1.2, 2.4, 2.4, 6, square, shield_wall

formation        1, 1, 2, 2, 4, square, testudo

Add the red part in the 'formation' line. (shield_wall will only work in BI - testudo only in RTW)
Note that you can have only 1 extra formation for each unit and some of them are only for infantry while others only for cavalry.
Save & exit.
