A little technical help please....

I installed BC last night. I have seen some minor issues which did not lead to any serious issues.
1-I can't do any custom battles because I don't see any units where I am supposed to pick my army.
2-During Makuria campaign (my first and only campaign so far), I got weird messages such as "do not translate" when I moved cursor over small chapels. In the campaign battles, when I cursor over my general I see "unlocalized placement text- heavy cavalry"
I installed 1.05 and all the other fixes listed under that thread.
What is going wrong?

I started with BC 1.0 then went to the 1.05 patch thread- then, starting from the first post which contains 1.05 I started to go down and download-install all the patches, namely the UI fix, some other fix, and AI fix.
I found out what the problem was in custom battle. I have to select "All era" in the setup screen. If I just pick one era such as late era, the roster comes up blank.

The building names and the heavy cavalry text still appears wrong though.

Install 1.0 and then 1.05 and thats it. All the smaller fixes are in 1.05. Try reinstalling 1.05 and if that does not help, uninstall and start over.
