Default The Video Game Confession Thread

The point of this is simple. Confess any of your shameful video game secrets. I will be the first one to sacrifice my pride.

    - I own every Sims expansion pack ever created for the PC.
    - The same goes for the Sims 2.
    - I liked Viva Pinata.
    - I have used up 200+ Hours on Pokemon Diamond.
    - I found the whole Halo series to be a average.
    - Ghost Recon(original) is quite possibly the game I used up most of my natural life on.
    - I still play Oregon Trail on my computer.

    I own a Terminator game
    I can't stand M2TW
I think Halo 3 is overrated
I've clocked over 400 hours into my 1st Oblivion character
I've got nearly 80 hours on Pokemon Gold

-I still play Civilization III occassionally, despite owning IV.
-I play two games, Europa Universalis III, and ROMA VICTOR (MMORPG, no monthly payments. Pay once!) obsessively.
-I still play Oregon Trails on my computer too (I have III Edition).
-I played more than a thousand hours of Rome: Total War in all of my time owning it.
-I played more than two hundred hours of Medieval II: Total War in all my time owning it.
-In some RPGs, I sometimes roleplay a Christian character, who is basically supposed to be Christ-like.
-I found the Halo series only a little above average, but multiplayer is great.

And finally: I roleplayed Sam Fisher in Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Also, one of my friends roleplayed Jesus in Morrowind, but he named him Yeshua instead of Jesus. Basically, he made it so that the Yeshua character was beyond Level 30 or something.

Oh man, that one is GOLD. That is TOO deep an insight into what goes in the secretive depths of your mind.

Here's mine - when I recently played Icewind Dale I named 5 members of my whole party after women who have rejected me during my life, and the 6th member after myself. I even filled out the Biography section for each "character" to explain why these women were helping me vanquish evil in a fantasy world.

All of yours others are indeed shameful but Oregon Trail was the ****. I remember they made us play it in Computers class in elementary school (because it helped us learn so much about computers)

    Let's see...
-I once played WoW for a couple years
-I once played SWG for a couple years (I'm a MMORPG fanatic)
-I thought HoMM V was good
-I have a lvl 120 on runescape (somewhere)
-I used to play Neopets (don't hurt me)

I have like 450 hours on Poke'mon Blue and like 200 on Silver, but I'm not ashamed. Classic Poke'mon is awesome!

I fondly remember playing Oregon Trails when I was in 3rd Grade. That was the first game I was truly addicted to, and I eventually developed an obsession about the culture of the Old West. I loved studying it.

-I've played M2TW more than a thousand Hours
-I've played MTW more than a thousand Hours
-I Liked Master of Orion 3

I used to play Dungeons and Dragons when I was in high school, and thought I was pretty much over it, until I recently purchased the following single boxed set for AU$29.95.

The Ultimate Dungeons and Dragons Compilation

Neverwinter Nights + Addons Shadows of Undrentide & Hordes of the Underdark
    Dragonshard
Baldur's Gate + Addon Tales of the Sword Coast
Baldur's Gate II + Addon Throne of Bhaal
    Demon Stone
Icewind Dale + Addon Heart of Winter
Icewind Dale 2 + Addon Temple of Elemental Evil.

*I'm playing Neverwinter Nights, and have played for 30+ hours I would think, and am only on Part 2!. I currently have an 8th-level fighter named Will Bross.

This collection will no doubt last me a year or two

Neverwinter Night is very fun I think; deep story, interesting leveling system and complex skill system. Oh ya, and hot babies and toughest bosses (no way to chop down a dragonlich!!!!!).

LOL it sure is fun, except there is too much reading in cities when you talk to people in order to gain hints, rumours, quests etc, and I have the thief Tomi as my henchman to disable traps and pick locks - I don't know how many more times I have to hear him say "Awww, I can open that easy!" followed by "Awwww, that's it!" Must be 3,000 chests I've had him open, it's driving me nuts.

    @anyone:

Is there some program which records how long you've been playing certain games? I've seen sigs which mention gameplay time etc....

That is the fun part of RPG - a lot of interesting conversation.

Unlike some game call Oblivion (Shivering Island has some funny conversation).

Try www.xfire.com . I personally don't use it, because it annoys me when people want to chat to me whilst playing games and not using that function renders the program useless.

Same here. BTW, I'm a Staff Sergent controlling the smallest platoon in the Whole Battalion. That means I'm responsible for controlling 7 and 1/2 people. (1/2 Half because one PFC is a Complete and total dumb***)

Out of Curiosity, what Branch is your JROTC? Mine is the Marine Corps. Speaking of Which.

    - One of my Characters in NWN 2 is named Zodiac. He has many levels as a Rogue mixed Bard. Thus replicating myself into a video game...

    - I play my DS more than any console.

    - I have read the manual of every video game I have ever bought.

I'm in Navy JROTC. We've gone to nationals for the past 2 years and we are going again this year. Last year we got 1st in drill and 5th overall.

    Heres a vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hJzKj...eature=related

    The quality is poor.

Anyways, back on topic, I've played neopets and used to have a level 80 something runescape file. I also used to play WoW and had a level 55.

Alpha Company. The most screw-up Company in Hisory of the ******* World in the words of our Gunny. Just so you know we do great at Drill Meets(We've run out of places to put Trophies).

    - I love Harvest Moon. I find that growing Hemp is a great way to make money in that game.

    - As for the Rumble Pak thing. I can Honestly say without a Doubt that I've never done that.

    - I thik the Arcade game , Area 51, was more entertaining then the ones for the console.

    - Michael Jackson's Moonwalker was a good game.
