    What is the cause of Human Suffering in the world today?

    I would personally say Ignorance; or Desire.

    What?? This is nonsense... Mankind is responsible of his own full action. God has nothing to do with this.

    Your answer is so much of a coward. Putting God on everything happening, takes out your responsibility on anything going on. If our suffering depend on the will of God then God is not responsible, and dishonest, and so we are not free of will.

    His infinite power result to an infinite failure?
    I believe that to meet the challenges of our times, human beings will have to develop a greater sense of universal responsibility. Each of us must learn to work not just for oneself, one's own family or nation, but for the benefit of all humankind. Universal responsibility is the key to human survival. It is the best foundation for world peace.

    I think it's our lack of wisdom, selfish behaviors and different vision of the world we have.
    I believe that to meet the challenges of our times, human beings will have to develop a greater sense of universal responsibility. Each of us must learn to work not just for oneself, one's own family or nation, but for the benefit of all humankind. Universal responsibility is the key to human survival. It is the best foundation for world peace.

    I agree with Mansu Musa partly, but it goes deeper than that. Satan is the cause of suffering really, but to put it deeper, he causes grief, disaster, mayhem, discomfort, depression, and pain to many millions or billions in the world today.

    But what are my opinions here, obviously not respected among the majority in this "Monastica."
