Frame rates

Just wondering y my frame rates are so low this seems to be the only mod that i have played Med2 or Rome totla war that seems to have low frame rates any reason y?

It is most likely the script. Parsing text is very demanding on any system.

What is parsing text and how does that work?

This is probably the only mod I've seen where the campaign map is actually more intensive than the battles themselves.

Parsing is essentially what a computer does when it analyzes code and interprets it. That is a bit of a reductionist view, though.
