Requirements for 6.0 update?

i was about to install the SS 5.0/5.1 mod until i saw the release for 6.0 is near. can anyone tell me if i will need to start fresh with kingdoms or can i go from 5.1 to 6.? thanks for any help.

I suggest you just install 5.1. Worse case scenario, the mod doesn't come out for another month or two, and you still get to see what Stainless Steel is all about. Best case scenario, the mod comes out tomorrow, and you spend 3-5 minutes uninstalling 5.1 with the built-in uninstall system.

Depends on if everyone who has 5.1 will update to 6. I would advise anyone who was going to update to 6 to either uninstall 5, or install in a seperate directory, as that way there can be no confusion if there is some sort of bug that the beta testing has not found. What with new factions, map etc 6 will be bigger than 5 to download, so some people may not have disk capacity for such, without some soul searching on what to delete . Also some people have modded 5 quite a bit, so may want to have both on pc anyway.
