    Default HELP ME PLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I tried to play my RTW, on SPQR mod today, and it said that it couldn't read one of the .dat or .pak files. It worked perfectly before, the mod too!
    So I uninstalled, and whenever I try to reinstall, it gets to the ui thingy, then says that there is a cyclic error on the ata 2 file. What can I do????

    ata sounds like harddrive. Either the driver for it or the drive itself.

    I uninstalled everything I can, just that patches 1.3, 1.5, and RTW itself won't uninstall! When I click on "Uninstall" on the STart/All Programs/Total War/Rome Total War/Uninstall I get this message:

    1->SetupDLL\SetupDLL.cpp (391)
    2-PAPP:Rome-Total War
    3-PVENDOR:The Creative Assembly(http://www.totalwar.com)
    4-PGUID:51D3864C4-0227-46A9-AC45-61FOA5OE7AFF
    5-$11.50.0.42618
    @Windows XP Service Pack 2 (2600) IE 6.0.2900.2180

    I hit Ok on the bottom of the window, and get this:

    Setup has experienced an error. It gives a few tips, and says error number -5001

    Have you tried deleting everything manually and then deleting the registry entries so that windows thinks it is uninstalled?
