    Default Audio Illusion

    Well, this is not exactly an illusion. It's incredibly realistic stereo sound. It is amazing. You need headphones.

    I don't have headphones here.

    Edit: Although, I've heard of 3D sound for headphones. The principle is fairly straightforward, you just have to calculate out all the delays and such that the real sound would have when hitting your ears from different directions and distances. After all, you only have two ears, so in principle any audible sound should be reproducible using only two sources (provided they interfere negligibly, strictly one per ear).
