I got to be honest.I liked 'high underhand grip' better.
Don't wanna start debate and all but we know that in Anabasis to detail is explained hoplite advance of lowering spears and advancing in wave-like movement (first row, second etc.)
With broken spear or throwing overarm...yes...of course, it's logical, but to do that with 2.7-3m long spear is very slow and limiting.
Besides...classical 'ortodox' thrust is higly unpractical in proffesional circles.(athletes,doctors etc.)
Don't wanna go any deeper into position of arm or anything, but thrust with thumb towards spear tip seem more plausible.Most of spearman and other phalanx units fought that way, i don't see why would Greeks be any different.
Especially in melee duels.


But I like texture on models.

they didn't worked very well...so i had to reinclude the old ones
it's a weird problem
