Advancing armor
In M2TW your troops will get a different look on the battlefield whenever u upgrade their armor, this is a really cool feature but then again CA managed to screw this up as well for example: if u upgrade trebizond archers, they will get the same skin as the byzantine guard archers, which turns another feature in a complete waste in vanilla. So are u guys gonna use this feature? afaik the three options are:
- u do it CA style and make clones (please don't)
- u do it like BC and just don't use the feature (which I would understand)
- u do it like SS and have a whole lot of skins.

Re: Advancing armor
Probably not. Foot explains here why. I also imagine that given the number of units in EB1 (and so few skinners/modellers available), the EB team won't be enthusiastic about having to make even more new skins.

Re: Advancing armor
There has been some talk of using the upgrades as upgrading between two units. For example, an upgrade between Pezhetairoi and Hysteroi Pezhetairoi. That is only if the stats work, though.
