Anyone else looking forward to this game?

It's a new shooter game from EA, which is free-to-download but they will also sell upgrades to your soldier, which cost money. It is from 3rd person view with cartoon graphics, like TF2. It will have customizeable characters, kind of MMO flavour of upgrading your character.

I'm holding out hope for this one, since it says it's all about the shenanigans. BF42 is about the shenanigans as well, and if you look at my avatar, you can see I'm all for shenanigans.

Edit: It took us three Kubelwagons and 40 minutes to get this particular shot set up... you have to ram one kubel up a story with another, repeat, and ram the kubel up on to the roof. But it was worth it. I hereby claim that I have done every shenanigan known to BF42-dom, and explored every map.

Something you want to experience in a game but never IRL

In the trailer they mentioned a "long running territorial controll thing". Am I the only one that is really intrested in this? Anyway this game is going to be a blast like Savage Swede said

That's what BF1942 is for. I rode the stuka wing all the way to crete once.

As for this game, it looks dumb.. That is my opinion.

I really can't believe EA is doing a free game without advertisements in it.

They're turning around, its really weird, first they admit they hurt the game industry, now they are doing a free game. Whats next, Duke Nukem Forever gets released?

I'm kind of excited, at least they are bringing back fun to gaming with some added charm. A lot of developers forget about that these days. Can't wait to ride on a plane wing and take pot shots at people below

Maybe theyve realised that crappy games dont sell. I abandoned EA pretty much after their games got so boring, there was no difference. Especially beetween sports games, there was a cartoon how an EA employee came to work, replaced the hockey -07's blue 7 with a red 8, and said "I'm done. See you next year"

I hope that they will start bringing up better games now, as theyre quite big part of game industry.

This free-to-play is mainly a test to see if they can profit well with the idea of advertises on the website combined with selling items echancing the exp gain and look of the player. At least its a game thats developers wont need to worry about piracy.

At least if it flops, i havent wasted any money in it. But still my hopes are high
