    Default Best Adrenaline Music

My local gym has made the unfortunate decision to start playing the likes of Faith Hill and some little girl rapping about her lip gloss in our weight room (when I approached the manager, he said it was because the entire building is hooked up to the same speaker system and there are several female classes operating in the evening). So I've managed to dig out my old iRiver and decided to start filling it up. I can't decide which songs to place on it, however. So here's an open question to all: which songs really get your adrenaline pumping when you need it to? When you're trying to find the energy to finish that last 100 meter dash at the end of a workout or are struggling to pump out that last rep in the weight room, which songs would get you over that last hump? In the past I've always used music in the same vein as Rage's "Guerilla Radio" or Metallica's "Fuel," but I'm looking to expand my horizens here.

Try Dragonforce -- Through the fire and flames, it would be a lot better if it was a lot slower, but there's nothing better than Dragonforce when you need an adrenalin rush, you just can't help but feel cool working out to Herman Li shredding gee-tar.

Except for the fact that Dragonforce sucks.

I didn't say they were amazing, and they'd be a helluva lot better if they slowed down a wee bit. But this is a good adrenaline-pumping song, so thread criteria met

Plus, listen to "Dawn over a New World" and tell me honestly what you think then. I'm not pressuring you into saying they're amazing, which I don't think they are, but that's actually a good song, slower than usual with good lyrics.

Music that get's you pumped usually changes based on how much you listen to a song. In fact, a song's effect on you dull's after X amount of time.

For the Time Being, Sepultura's 'Refuse Resist' is great for adrenaline.
