    Default My Generals rebel

Anyone know what goverens if one of your generals turns into a rebel? I'm trying to play a little story wise and have one of my generals turn rebel after the king dies. I used the give_trait cheat to remove LoyaltyStarter, give his disobedient 2, DiscontentGeneral 3, Disloyal 3. Pretty much his loyallty is atleast -10... but yet he will NOT go rebel on me and it's starting to P* me off! LOL Is it even possible for your generals to turn into rebels like they did in Rome?

I never saw them rebelling with a crowned king...

What about adding the you are not my king trait?

Playing as the Flemish, I went on a crusade against the French to take Paris. My king died right before I moved my troops out of my capital. Having read that the heir needs a crown, I moved my heir (now faction leader) to my capital and I waited one more turn for coronation. Next turn I LEFT my territory with 2 full stacks and entered French soil, leaving king behind. Immediately after I left my territory a rebel family member besieged my capital.
Honestly I didn't check his loyalty etc before he rebelled, but all my generals were in my 2 cities with other generals and faction leader, so no one had command of a city/army by themselves.
That ungrateful guy found soldiers on his own and attacked my capital while I was in the next region attacking Paris. I am going send one my sieging armies (I had 2 full stacks sieging Paris) back to deal with that ungrateful cur!

By the way 30 years of savings were gone within 3 turns into that campaign and I turned red before this guy revolted.! I think there are 2 triggers in my case so far:
1-Maybe I went to the wrong place for coronation, I haven't checked it to see whether my king has been crowned yet.
    2- I went bankrupt

I think going bankrupt was the trigger, try losing some money , reduce your money to below zero, and see if your generals rebel.

The "you are not my king trait" is Locked, I beleive, he had that aswell. The point where I left off at was before my ruler was crowned (so no crowned king), was in the negatives (-646). The city he was in rebeled and kicked him out.
