Bizarre network problems.

I've been trying for the past week for so to log on to multiplayer and have only succeeded once. I retry and retry, but all I get is a long pause followed by the connection lost message. Now, the weird part is, if I load up any Kingdoms campaign and attempt to log on it goes without a hitch. Does anyone know what's going on here? I mean I'm going to the same lobby using the same service. As far as I know I didn't change any settings apart from the graphics. Is there a trick to this? Is CA trying to get more people to play Kingdoms online?

Hey Old Scratch. I got an account here just to say this: Yeah, I can't get in either, same problem exactly. I go to log in, it sits for about 30 seconds, then says "Connection Lost". I go to log in again, the background music stops and about 5 seconds later it says "Failed to Login." I've managed to get in twice, both times after 2 am. WTF is going on man?! I need my fix!!

Edit: Meant to ask you, do you have Kingdoms?

everybody's suffering the same issues............it's gamespy.....keep trying.......... i been ****in at the chatmonitor about it

Ah, ok, I hope they fix this soon; custom battles just aren't the same thing. Sodbuster, yes I have kingdoms and all the campaigns log in just fine. It can be useful to see who's online before trying to get in through vanilla.

OK. Well I don't have Kingdoms. I had to be sure it wasn't that. I managed to get in last and had a great time with a couple 3v3's. I'm trying right now, but no luck.

Yeah this has been really annoying. What I found works is to use my second account which I don't use in medieval 2 try and log that on fail then my other one works its weird but it works.
