why the hell do most of my settlements have between 500 and 1000 florins of expenditure due to devestation? it has been this way for the past 15 turns or more. bloody ridiculous.

then theres the random mass-population detahs (not the plague. These ****ers happen far too much.

u think that sucks. i had a massive plague as byzantine and just after it ended, turkey, kiev, georgia, hungary all declared war on me.

if what you are suffering is the black plague, it is in vanilla too. it hits hard.. really hard.


tell us what year you had it coming to confirm, duration seems normal 2 me 4 a black one


i dont know if they revised the amount of money hit but back in 5.0 it was ok. (to the point of leading a very evolutioned turkish empire into ruin as this came together with mongol + timurids + war on all fronts)

it was THE best time of all DLV



BTW... take care which city you attack once plague is over, if its the black one, your neightbours will get it next and so on, so maybe you get it again by conquest, i bet you dont want that






pd: i had my best city (constantinople) under siege for 20 turns.

they sieged it in summer attacked in winter. sieged in summer attaked in winter. sieged in summer ataked in winter, THEN i had the chance to refill the city with new walls and new soldiery. next turn it was all over again.
i played that battle everytime, it would be suicidal not to. i did it by memory most times
