I don't know if this is a glitch or something but almost every one of my family member's daughters doesn't become a princess. Is becoming a princess only for daughters directly related to the faction leader/ faction heir or former leaders/ heirs? Just curious..

I personally dont find princesses very useful at all, but I think you are correct.

Well, I'm glad not every female family member pops up as a princess. They are crappy diplomats with an upkeep of 250 per turn.

Good point but personally I would rather them be crappy diplomats than doing nothing waiting for a random "A Suitable Prince" message to come up. Ya know?

PS: Why do Princesses charge so much to walk aroud? They must really be full of themselves...

    Servants, transport, food. Just examples.

And princess is related to the ruler. Only the king's sons are princes and daughters princesses.

If you've got a bad princess (low charm) it's best to attempt to marry a high-ranking AI general. With a bit of luck she will fall for his charm, marry her and get some bad traits and ancillaries in return. The only way to make a crappy princess somewhat usefull.
