foolproof way is to have your onagers right behind your line of legionnaires, when using fire. otherwise, yeah you'll get some retarded friendly fire every now and then.

I'm in clind to move them up to the frunt of the battle line. tow on the left and two on the right. But when useing fire its best to leave them behind couse they have a tendentce to undershoot or over shoot.
Mostly undershot. HAHA

A come on give a guy a brake. I know my spelling is not up to scratch but its all good I hope at least you all can understand me. I thought we had this out all ready, when you leave school at 14 it dose not help your spelling later on in life. I think its called Dyslexia.
BlackShamrock - I know, sorry, although I'm usually the one defending you, I was responding to something someone (not naming names) else said, but they seem to have edited it now.
Its all good m8. I know that some of the guys get board and want something to happen but I just laugh it off as fun. I don,t take o fence. And thank you for havening my back +rep

Having cool auxiliary units would for sure be awsome but woudln't them take too many slots?
Yes I know its a double post i'm doing. But i'm a little MAD. I was smack in the middle of my imperial reforms organizing everyone. Putting Generals here and there, sending the auxilia legions to the proper areas and preparing for a Massive invasion of Gaul. I was going to invade Gaul with 5 named legions and 12 Auxilia legions. But right in the middle of all this. I did my usual save and everything was fine but then after that my whole neighborhood went out. Meaning the power went out. It went out for like 20 minutes. So when I got power back guess what? My saved game became Corrupt. It just CTDs everytime I load it. I was in the summer of 515 A.U.C. and Rome in my computer had fallen without a single battle fought.
SO my expansion of this thread about tactics and Auxilia tactics and fort using with pictures and all will have to wait even LONGERRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. As now I have to start all over again.![]()
I'm real sorry guys.

I use them mainly to guard my settlements.
Hi, i use double saves at end of each turn since a few month ago i myself i have lost a campaign in a same way.
Its all good lad don,t wherry.
Great! Using this adds to the realism of the mod, which is already very realistic! It always did seem kind of wierd that a Roman Emperor/King/Common Vote would choose to send a legion into gaul with no reinforcements at all, and then, send that same legion off to fight in macedonia? Very good.
I thought about writing something clever, but then I remembered I'm not clever enough.
I'm glad you guys like my system. I'm just happy to help out.

I always thought that the Auxiliaries were different every where you went in the empire different shields and equipment
I posted two pictures on the tactics section to give you a basic understanding on how I use the legions in battle.
