Century X: I know I've just stated this, but your legion/aux tracking system has brought a wonderful new level of interaction to this already great game.

From my fairly extensive playing in the pre-reforms phase of the game, I wonder if the chart couldn't be expanded to include slots for the more generic legions that are created from the pre-marian and VE units. I suppose the 0-turn players would balk at this, but I find I don't create all that many of them -- nor can I afford to. There could be some custom naming based on the commander, etc.

Also, perhaps a "Current Location" tag - or even a "Commissioned Goal / Conflict" slot to indicate what the Legion is currently involved in doing. How about # of men and losses for some more detailed battle efficiency calculations?

One major missing aspect of RTW, etc. is a historical tracking of battles, losses, wars, etc., that this tool comes in very handy for. I often find myself leaving a campaign for days, weeks, or even months, and sometimes I just restart since I no longer had a sense for what I was doing - forgetting units that were in ships, and on long treks, etc.

-Maybe I'm leaning into the conceptual realm of a companion document to better track wars and other non-legion specific aspects.

I have no time for editing some examples, but maybe this weekend!

so, does that mean you are planning a new Army recruitment system for RS 2 to go with the shiney new units ?

I have improved the Legion Organizer Tool, so that you can keep track of your legion location, assignment, and efficiency. I'm thinking to add the possibility to keep a log, a history of your in game legion (do you think that is of any interest this type of addon?)

You can download the tool here:

Yes yes the addon will be good.

Good to see you again ciprianrusu.

I'll check out the file when I get home and update the first post with the link to the new file.

I am somewhat confused... How does the organizer work exactly? I downloaded it and cannot find out how it works. Is it a standalone program, or do I place it somewhere in the RS directory?

It's an improved version of the old one. It calculates a more detailed efficiency chart, and it has a few more columns on the first sheet, in which will help you keep track of your legions whereabouts. I'm working on another improvement (it's for those who would like to keep an even more detailed history of his/hers legions.)

I have further improved the Legion Organizer. I hope century x would not mind that i keep posting in his thread, but he is the one who inspired me to do this, and the tool is based on his system.

So this is the latest version, (is for those who want to keep an in-game history of their legions- for AAR's for example).
