Default I'm mildly displeased with this mod

I've literally just alt-tabbed out the game to type this.

2 massive rebel stacks just materialised out of nowhere right after gunpowder was dicovered. they are in the london province and 1 is seiging london city.

i had no ****n army to repel the attack so i got the govener out of southampton and bought as many mercenaries as i could with 3,000 florins which was  all.

tried to repel the seige but ended up killing southampton governer and my faction leader.

* THAT. WTF? I am so *ng pissed off. FFS why the **** did these 2 stacks spawn? i never let my settlements go below yellow.

Life's a beetch and then you surf.......

Just chill, rebels spawning are just God's way of telling you to step away from the keyboard and go and do something more interesting instead

(if you dn't like them there are several tutorials floating about which tell you how to mod them out of the game)

Sorry but I didn't get it. You posted a link for .pdf file with a instruction how to play it. But I was asking about a way how to disable (or reduce) rebels.

    Edit...
Aaaa Now I understand, you were mislead by my term "tutorial". Sorry, I just used he same term as the post I reacted to. Please, read the quote in my question again...

I've heard whores in cheap taverns near London have higher spawn rates than elsewhere.
(You should check they aren't 2000 peasants)

DLV is really quite difficult, when played at the suggested level (vh/vh). It takes some getting used to, an an adjustment in your campaign strategies. No more pulling all your forces to the front and leaving a few peasants and archers in the rear.

    Also, money management is critical.

yea bloody annoying. it's so difficult to have standing armies in range of all cities cos it's just too expensive. very tricky mod. but that's whats so cool about it. but the totally random rebel spawn = fail

i dunno really. it's not something i've looked in to. i like medieval history a lot, especially warfare back then. any links to information on rebels back then? did they pose major threats to kingdoms back then?

would the robin hood story count as a rebel since he had a band of outlaws.

and as for this thread title, well a moderator changed it. i love this mod.... theres nothing out there that compares even close. it's just this sudden appearance of rebels was ridiculous.

Start a new campaign, under custom campaigns you'll see an option for vanilla scripts - play that grand campaign and you will not ahve rebel spawn or field upkeep etc. theres another there which just removes the rebel spawn i believe - but you will have to start a new campaign - and seeing as you are so displeased with yoru current one it seems like the best idea!
