Victory conditions
I just wanted to know, those two rebel settlements in Mauretania, do they count towards the 12 settlements total you need to win if you capture them? If yes, I might attempt it next time as Carthage, since they are near the capital and probably will suffer from less culture penalties (plus they have harbors). Thanks.

Re: Victory conditions
I don't see why not. As long as you make sure you take the named cities in the victory conditions then how you make up the remainder shouldn't matter. In all the times I've played through the campaign as Carthage I've never once crossed over to North Africa and tackled the settlements there. Maybe I shall give it a try next time.

Re: Victory conditions
Yeah, it seems like a good idea to do it, as you can get them quick (as opposed to having to walk through Iberia...), they won't be too rebellious and probably will bring some good revenue. It might turn out to be a catastrophic idea, but someone has to try!
I will try this after the patch, since as I have read those cities don't have their proper garrisons at this stage, and I would like to fight some realistic army to get them.

Re: Victory conditions
In one of my early campaigns I did take the settlements in North Africa. Can't remember much about that campaign as it was so long ago (it was during beta testing). I know I didn't meet the victory conditions - I am a careful player so I am way too slow for this mod.
