Is this a bug?

Hi guys

I have a city that should give my cavalry an experience boost every time I recruit them.... however when I order the cavalry - the following turn they appear without the experience boost.

I then have to re-train them to get the expected boost... but this doesn't always seem to work either.

Any advice?

This is a known bug, I believe to do with loading save files then retraining. Sorry I cant be more specific than that.

I believe the general rule of thumb is to click the recruit or retrain button for the unit, then make sure you play out that turn and end it, if you save and come back to it later before you end your turn, the retraining will be useless.

Move the unit out of town and back in. Then put it in to be retrained and it should take. If you save and reload, you will have to redo the move out and in to retrain to make the retraining take effect.
